When a client company determines that it will need a temporary tech employee, it submits a staffing request to WIM. Upon receipt of this request, WIM must first evaluate the request. When a match is found, the resume details of the top 3 matches are sent to the client.
Once the client receives the resumes, they review them and submit the name of their preferred employee so that the employee can be contracted. Contracting involves sending a client-specific temporary employment contract to the employee. When the employee signs and returns the contract, it is filed in an ‘open contracts’ file. In addition, the temporary employees file is updated to indicate the company, date, and length of the temporary assignment for this employee. A copy of the signed temporary employment contract is sent to the client. Once the process is completed, the customer contacts the employee to schedule their work hours.
